Having begun his career as an Assistant Director on the BBCs 'Only Fools and Horses', Dom moved into factual television with Buena Vista Productions where his directing credits included 'Disneytime' and 'Disney's Animal World'. As a freelance Director, Dom worked on a number of reality formats for Sky, most notably on two series of 'The Villa' and the infamous 'There's Something About Miriam'. Dom also specialised in producing VT insert material for large scale international television events such as 'Miss World' and the 'Lareus World Sports Awards'.
In 2004 Dom made a significant move into the world of specialist factual when he directed 'Scrapheap Challenge' for Channel 4, going on to develop the 'Scrapheap Roadshow' and series produce two series of the cult hit at RDF Television. Scrapheap marked the start of Dom's long association with cars and technology which saw him develop and/or produce formats that included 'Car of the Year' and 'Driving Wars' for Dave, as well as 'Strippers Cars for Cash' and 'Science of Stupid' for National Geographic.
Dom also boasts a track record of working with leading comedy talent. He both series produced and series directed Robert Llewellyn's in car chat show 'Carpool' for Dave and most recently series produced 'Gadget Man' for Channel 4 - writing all the scripts with BAFTA winner Richard Ayoade.
Since joining IWC in 2014 to work on the new 34 x 30" commission of the second series of 'Science of Stupid' , Dom helped develop and then produced ‘How to Win at Everything’ (14 x 30”) for National Geographic and Executive Produced both ‘Richard Hammonds Jungle Quest’ (2 x 60”) for Sky 1 and the third series of ‘Science of Stupid’ (34 x 30”)
