Gerard Costello

Gerard oversees our slate of popular factual programmes, including the award-winning Location Location Location (C4) and the multi-series hit Susan Calman’s Grand Day Out (C5).

In his time at IWC, he has run our Extreme Fishing (C5) and Scotland’s Home of the Year (BBC Scotland) brands, as well as delivering successful series to a range of broadcasters, including Bloomberg, Travel Channel and Lifetime.

Prior to joining us, Gerard was a producer and director working across a range of genres, from arts and science to popular factual and travel. His shoots took him to 5 continents on prestigious projects such as Days That Shook The World (BBC/AETN) and The Restaurant (BBC Two).
