Leanne Kyle

Leanne heads up the IWC legal team with responsibility for legal and business affairs advice across all its content. She joined the company in 2008 and since then has worked as the lead production lawyer on hundreds of hours of television.

She advises on all elements of production from development through to transmission and has experience in content filmed all over the world from negotiating access to warzones in Air Hospital (C4) to advising on issues around border closures and an outbreak of the Ebola virus while filming Slow Train Through Africa (ITV). Closer to home, key productions include the award winning Location Location Location (C4); Secret Scotland (C5) and Scotland’s Home of the Year (BBC). Leanne has experience working across all genres of programming and has also provided legal support to scripted and kids content within the Banijay Group.

Leanne established the IWC legal trainee scheme and is an Attorney-at-Law, qualified in New York State.
